For a long time I’ve been wanting to start up my own business. It’s always been a dream of mine & this year I finally decided to do something about it. I’ve been reading informative books, clipping magazines for inspiration, taking online classes & workshops, jotting down tons of ideas in notebooks.. I’ve done my research [& still have more to do!].
I realize I need to stop talking about the future & finally live in the moment. I may not have everything ‘perfect’ or set in place but that shouldn’t hold me back. So I’m making it official in two weeks. I’ll be moving to a new location soon from wordpress to typepad. I’m also changing my blog/business name from ‘veebhu’. Don’t get me wrong, I love the name. It’s been my nickname since I was little but I need a change. I need a name that people can easily remember as well as be able to spell it out & properly say it.
Of course I will be giving more details in the upcoming days ahead but I wanted to give a heads up to all my readers & set up my site before I officially launch the new name & place. I won’t be giving daily posts as I have before for these two weeks. I apologize for the inconvenience but I promise, it will definitely be worth it. Well back to planning.. & again, thank you to everyone who have read & commented on my blog. You guys are the best!

I spent two days cleaning & organizing my room. What a relief! I’ve never seen my desk so clean & my craft supplies all organized in drawers. The cleaning part is pretty much done. I still have 2-3 loads of laundry to do but for the most part, my room looks spotless. One phase of Operation: Clean UP! is done.. now on to phase two.. organization. I still have 50% left of organizing, the worse part of this operation. I love to keep & save so many things I never know where to put it all. I threw away a good amount of stuff though.. a whole black garbage bag worth of things. Right now things are pretty much organized but if I keep at it each day for like 20-30 min. I’ll be ok.

I wanted to post pictures but I gave back my friend’s SLR camera & just realized I left my camera at a friend’s place `=T.. but hopefully my room will remain this clean so that when I do take pics you’ll be able to see what I’m talking about.
I haven’t had the chance to go work out today (been slacking on that too!) so I’m heading to my basement ‘gym’ after this post. I have tons of things to do, both on & offline so bare with me guys. I will be back with an inspiration notebook post later tonight.

Yea it’s another clip from Finding Nemo. I’m doing a little bit better. Last night, I made a ‘Thank You’ card for no particular reason. I liked how it came out.. I’ll take pictures soon once I borrow the SLR camera again. I woke up late & tried to make more cards but I just felt so depressed & unmotivated. So I went out to a friend’s place to get some fresh air. It was good to have someone else’s company & not think about upsetting things. I need to get back on track tomorrow in a lot of things.. gym, art journal, studying.. the list goes on. Well I got to go help mom out with the dishes.. be back later.

I’d like to apologize for the lack of updates these past three days. Two days ago, my uncle passed away. He’s my dad’s brother-in-law & since my aunt is the oldest out of my dad’s side of the family, we called him & her ‘Big Uncle’ & ‘Big Auntie’. He’s been sick for over 10+ yrs, suffering from strokes & heart attacks. But this past Friday, my uncle was in serious condition because he had a bacterial infection in one of his valves. He was in real bad condition & there wasn’t anything the doctors could do. I’d like to think he’s now resting peacefully without any pain or worry in the world.
He was the sweetest guy you’d ever meet.. & such a talented artist. The paintings he created were amazing! I was able to take some pics when I went to visit my aunt yesterday. I only had my camera phone with me so the quality of pictures are crappy. My favorite picture is the first one.. it’s so pretty! There are still so many of his paintings in the basement untouched or hung. Hopefully I could ask my aunt to take pictures of all [or most] of his paintings to post them up. May he rest in peace & his memory lives on forever..

Clearly spring was on my mind when I was making this page. I have flowers everywhere, from the skirt to the brown glittered cardstock scrap I had laying around. The post-it on the bottom right of the page is something I drew & colored during my lunch break at work. The rainbow tag is an Urban Outfitters price tag. I know ‘love is hard’ is so random but the day I made it I saw it & thought ‘That is soo true!’

This page is actually a page from my Style School binder. Since I hadn’t kept up with my binder, I figured I’ll put it into my notebook. Everything is based on the theme “HOME” & I even added notes onto the pages. It’s just some of the ideas I’d like to do when I have my own place.

Today, I spent 50% of my day in the car driving to places. I picked up my sick friend from work & dropped him off home. For the ride, I got a free Sonics meal.. my first time ever at Sonics & let me tell you, the tater tots are delicious! It reminded me of the tater tots I got during lunch in high school.. oh the sweet memories. I got home & took a couple bites from my cheeseburger when I get a call from my brother, asking to be picked up from school. So I got him & came back home. A little after catching up with my parents on stuff, I headed to the park with the SLR camera & went for a walk. Well I mostly took pictures & did less walking, mostly because my right knee was in pain. I drove back home & uploaded the pictures before I headed back to NB to drop off the camera to my friend. Then I had to go to my dad’s liquor store to drop off limes. Finally I was able to go home & eat dinner. Yeah it was a hectic day but I made it! I’ve been tired all day so I’ll probably call it a night soon & knock out. But enjoy the pages & I’ll be back tomorrow.

How cute is this card?!?! It’s not mine but its a card I would love to give my mother. I gave my mom a big hug & kiss, along with a handmade card. I wish I could give her more but every time my sister gets her something, my mom either doesn’t like it or thinks the gift is too expensive. Sometimes, I just don’t understand her lol. Of course, I added my brother & sister’s names on the card since it’s from all of us.. plus my sister is always buying the gifts so it’s the least I can do. I will put pictures of the card either tonight or tomorrow morning, depending on when I get home. Well I have to go but I wanted to give a quick post.. again HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!
